Five 2130 Class heavy-duty Co-Co diesel-electric locomotives are available for sale. Developed for mainline freight operation, the locomotives are powered by the Ruston Paxman 12 CSVT Mk2 turbocharged diesel engine and operate on 1067 mm narrow gauge track.
The class delivers approximately 1,490 kW gross power and 1,380 kW traction power, with continuous tractive effort of 224 kN at 17.4 km/h. Electrical equipment includes an EE 822 main generator and EE 548 traction motors.
Each locomotive has a service weight of approximately 94 tonnes, 952 mm wheel diameter, 72:15 gear ratio and 5,455 litre fuel capacity. Equipment includes a Gardner Denver WXE-A air compressor, Westinghouse 30CDW braking system and Hasler Teloc 2200 vigilance / recorder system.
The locomotives are offered in as-is condition and require overhaul or rebuild prior to return to operational service. Four of the five units received engine overhauls during 2012–2013.
