Expressions of interest are invited for two Nordco TRIPP Model C tie inserter/remover machines. The machines are configured for 1435 mm track gauge. Hour readings are 2,203 hours and 2,348 hours. They are powered by John Deere 6068T Tier 2 turbocharged six-cylinder engines rated at 185 HP at 2,350 rpm, with 70 Amp alternators, hydraulic propulsion and dual axle chain drive. The machines have tie insertion and removal functions, a maximum speed of 23 mph (37 km/h), rated draw bar pull on rail of 1,000 lbs (454 kg), gross weight of 36,000 lbs (16,326 kg), dimensions of 36 feet (11 metres) long, 11 feet (3.35 metres) wide and 11 feet 6 inches (3.5 metres) high, and fuel capacity of 120 gallons (454 litres). Equipment inspection is available by arrangement.
