Plasser & Theurer 09-32 CAT tamper manufactured in 1986 for 1435 mm standard gauge track. The machine has five axles, 60,000 kg tare weight, 65,000 kg GVM weight, 90 km/h track speed and 29,533 engine hours.
The machine is equipped with a front tower cab containing track geometry equipment, controls and an automatic machine lead computer type ALC. Its 3-point servo-controlled track lifting and lining system uses centre and side chords and transducers. The tamping banks can be shifted transversally across the sleeper width for curve adjustment.
