2004 Harsco / Jackson 6700SJ2 production and switch / turnout ballast tamper in 1600 mm convertible gauge configuration.

The machine provides production ballast tamping and switch / turnout tamping capability, with 16 tamping tools, automatic rail clamping, an automatic tamping cycle and independent / pivoting workheads suitable for turnout work. It is suitable for timber and concrete sleepers and includes track lifting, track lining and curve lining systems. Maximum track lift / superelevation correction and maximum lining offset are each approximately 150–152 mm.

Features include the Jupiter II machine control system, onboard machine diagnostics and a Protran Callisto Pro Tamp Track Geometry Measurement System. The machine has hydraulic propulsion and an approximate maximum speed of 55–56 km/h. Approximate dimensions are 13,264 mm long, 3,150 mm wide and 3,537 mm high, with an approximate 9.14 metre wheelbase and 711 mm wheel diameter.
